It is known that the author used time-lapse technique to “shorten the time” for viewers to watch the video, by recording many images of meteors streaking across the sky.

It sounds simple, but in reality, this technique requires patience, the ability to choose a good angle to place the camera, and lots of… camera batteries and memory cards.
Simply because the meteors falling in the sky on August 13 – the “main actors” for the time-lapse video – had a falling density of only about 60 – 100 streaks/hour.


With a series of photos taken consecutively for many hours, even many days, sometimes only a video of a few minutes in length can be created.
