ABBA singer Björn Ulvaeus, 79, married his girlfriend, 28 years his junior, after two years of dating.
On Instagram on September 21, Björn Ulvaeus announced that he was holding a wedding ceremony with his third wife – Christina Sas, 51 years old – in Copenhagen, Denmark, witnessed by friends and family.
In the post, the artist said that the two met in Nuremberg, Germany in 2021, confirming that the relationship was related to ABBA’s release of the album Voyage in the same year but did not go into details. In the spring of 2022, Ulvaeus and Sas started dating. There is currently not much information about the artist’s new wife.

The wedding was officiated by Sandi Toksvig, a British comedian and former host of The Great British Bake Off. According to the Telegraph , she became friends with Ulvaeus after the two worked together on Mamma Mia! The Party , a musical show he founded in 2018. The ceremony also featured performances by two Danish singers, Anne Linnet and Kaya Brüel, friends of Björn Ulvaeus.

Björn Ulvaeus was born in 1945 in Sweden, known as one of the four pieces of the legendary group ABBA . Ulvaeus also had a successful solo career and film production. He also owns the company NoteHeads, which specializes in software for writing musical notes.
The artist married the band’s lead singer, Agnetha Fältskog, in 1971 but divorced eight years later. The couple have two children, Linda, 50, and Peter, 46. Ulvaeus reunited with his ex-wife and the members of ABBA for their new album Voyage in 2021. They also spent several months touring together.
In 1981, he remarried presenter Lena Kallersjö, with whom he has two children, Emma, 42, and Anna, 37. In February 2022, the couple divorced after 41 years of marriage, agreeing to split their £100 million fortune equally. They remain friends, continue to celebrate their children’s birthdays, and meet on other family occasions.
