Lost in Boardman farm, visitors will be overwhelmed by the beauty of the immense, straight pine forest.

Boardman Tree Farm is located in Morrow, Oregon County, USA, covering tens of thousands of hectares.

Rows of hybrid poplar trees of various species are planted neatly in rows on the farm for timber.

The romantic rows of trees are evenly spaced in height, size and leaf color. To achieve this picturesque scene, GreenWood Resources spent a lot of time and effort.

The farm is divided into several plots, each containing an average of 600 poplar trees.

Boardman Farm is just one of many GreenWood Resources farms, with others in North America, South America, and even China. But Boardman is the most accessible for tourists.

The type of poplar grown at Boardman is called Pacific Albus.

The poplars at Boardman are crossbred from 4 to 5 different poplar families to combine all the advantages such as fast growth, low watering requirements, straight trunks…

Each hybrid poplar tree takes 10 to 12 years to grow to harvestable size.

After the beautiful poplar trees are felled, they are sent to the factory to be cut into pieces for the furniture industry.

Other poplar rows continue to be bred and cared for for the next harvest.
