Residents and tourists on Koh Lipe Island, Satun Province, Thailand, on November 25, were stunned when they suddenly witnessed a rare phenomenon – 4 waterspouts appeared simultaneously off the Andamnan Sea, east of the island. According to witnesses, the strange phenomenon appeared for nearly 15 minutes and disappeared when the rain came.

This person added that although waterspouts appear quite often in areas of southern Thailand, he has never seen a scene of all four appearing at the same time and so close to the mainland.
